According to the 2014 Congressional Salaries and Allowances in the Congressional Research Service, it is stated that the pay for "most Senators, Representatives, Delegates, and the Resident Commissioner
from Puerto Rico has been $174,000". $174,000 per year or per annum.
The approval rating of such offices have been at a steady decline, and based on a few sources, the current approval rating varies between 9% to 21%.
If and when someone is not doing their job, they get demoted or fired.
I applaud that their pays have been frozen at $174,000 per annum since 2009 (according to the Congressional Salaries and Allowances), but the members of Congress are NOT doing their jobs.
So please consider decreasing their Annual Pay by as much as 20%
