We the students of the United States of America petition the US government to decrease the student loan interest rate from 6.8% to 3.4 percent so that needy families can afford to go to school and finish their degrees. This decrease will allow more families to attend school and will help stimulate the future economy as these families will earn more income and will pay more taxes.
