Decrease the Use of Constant Assessment and Standards in Public Schools

While nations such as Finland have extremely successful education systems, the US' falls short, estimates put the US education system between 17 and 23 in the world.
Constant assessment in schools and the integration of standards prevent students from learning to their full potential and expressing their creativity. Students are often discouraged by grades and menial teaching methods. Instituting a more creative, specialized teaching system, such as suggested by Sir Ken Robinson, would prove to get young Americans involved in schools and would make learning far less menial and far more enjoyable.
Students in the US are often ignored in the education system - schools are not factories for generating graduates. Students are people who depend on teachers who teach each student uniquely.
