The federal government needs to stop targeting sick people, their medicine and the people that provide them with their medicine.
The legally prescribed drugs that pharmaceutical companies produce do a lot more harm than cannabis ever could, especially when combinations of these drugs are prescribed – a common occurrence.
Cannabis has been found to be a lot more effective in the treatment of cancer, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, pain relief, Alzheimer's disease, opioid dependency and glaucoma along with countless other medical problems than a lot of prescribed drugs that often do not work and have a string of horrific side effects.
Sick people, and people that provide compassionate treatment to them, are not criminals.
