Cannabis is currently an illegal substance that has resulted in 100,000+ arrests annually. American families are destroyed, and lives are ruined.
In a poll that was done last year it showed that a majority of people were in favor of full legalization of cannabis. I am in that majority. However since we are still stuck in the 1970's in terms of drug information/tolerance; I know that the full legalization will not pass anytime soon.
It is unfair how alcohol and cigarettes are both more harmful than cannabis yet they are both legal. There is a reason why there are medical marijuana dispensers but no cigarette or cocaine dispensaries. There are reasons why groups such as LEAP are springing up.
What happened to the president that believed in the decriminalization of marijuana years ago?
