Marijuana is a natural grown plant first discovered by Nativa Americans and Europeans around 1000 A.D, respectively. It is common know ledge that the main chemical found in marijuana is delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol (THC). THC is a type of chemical that you are born with in your brain (cannabinoids). This means that when THC is consumed, the body is just adding more of a native chemical to your brain (more specifically anandamide). With the extra THC in your brain, the refractory time the neurons in your brain take decreases exponentially, causing thoughts and perceptions to be magnified (overthinking, feeling of dreaming). This also plays a large role in the perception of time; time slows down immensely, causing 30 seconds to seem more like 4-5 minutes. It's also proven to be unaddictive.
