My fellow Americans, for too long we have been oppressed over the fact that cannabis is made illegal to smoke, yet there are more deaths related to alcohol and cigarettes than there are to marijuana, such as liver disease, car crashes, and various types of cancer and heart diseases. Because cannabis is labeled a "drug" by the powers that be of this country, it has stifled not only the use of a nonlethal substance for recreation, but for medical purposes as well that can be treated with marijuana. I ask you, no I implore you to sign this petition and spread the word about it! I know this may seem like any other petition for legalizing marijuana, but I believe that as a nation we will never be truly free until we are given the essential right to use marijuana freely without fear of arrest!!
