Lift the federal prohibition on the use of marijuana for adults for recreational, medicinal, and industrial use. Decriminialize, and make it legal. By making marijuana legal it would bring jobs, revenue in the form of taxes, decrease prison overcrowding, and give us back a civil liberty that should have never been taken away from us in the first place. Facts about marijuana: 1) It is a proven medicinal. 2) It's fibers can produce some of the finest, strongest, and longest-lasting textiles. 3) The seeds produce oil which can be used for cooking and bio-fuel. 4) It can help decrease deforestation by producing a higher yield for paper products. Our founding fathers used, and wrote about the importance of this plant, why shouldn't we.
