This petition is designed to help those that have the need to use Tetrahydrocannabinol delta 9 as a product that they would usually get from a local pharmacy. But, Cannabis, scientifically, is more effective and less harmful to you then over the counter drugs. This plant has many uses, not only ingestion, but uses that could benefit a communities economics. It can also be used for treating a lot of illnesses and disorders. Pharmaceutical drugs create physical and mental dependencies. Cannabis does create any physical dependency.
Individuals over the age of 21 (Twenty One) can use Cannabis freely and without worry of being detained by law enforcement and penalized. Distribution would be handled by certified dispensaries for adults. The tax revenue will be used for Virginia schooling.
