It is time that we stop the incarceration and provide true freedom to adults in America whom choose to use the cannabis plant (e.g. marijuana) most of which suffer from cancer and chronic pain. Regulate cannabis in a way similar to tobacco and alcohol (legal drugs). Just a couple weeks ago president Obama himself admitted that marijuana (a.k.a. cannabis) is less harmful than alcohol. By legalizing cannabis this will potentially help defund dangerous drug cartels and by taxing the sales of cannabis will increase funding of state and federal government.
