The death of Aaron Swartz has sparked a debate on sharing information on the internet. Aaron only wanted to share knowledge that few enjoyed with everyone. No one was hurt. There are no victims. This was a victim-less crime that claimed the life of a young man that only wanted to share information. MIT nor JSTOR wanted to press charges, but some how Aaron was charged and sentenced. In addition to this request I would also like the president to take a look at other laws that destroy lives and families like drug laws and DUI laws. Especially if there is no victim. I would like the president to enforce laws that put bad people in jail that rape, murder, steal, and actually ruin lives of innocent people instead of enforcing laws that put good people in jail and ruin the lives of the innocent.
