The Federal Government should decriminalize marijuana possession of any quantity.
I propose that:
The federal government should not waste tax payer dollars enforcing anti-marijuana laws. There are too many low level offenders in our prisons. The federal government spends hundreds of millions of dollars a year enforcing anti-marijuana policies and housing low level offenders.
The tax-dollars saved from this measure should then be re-appropriated for border security. This would help to prevent harmful drugs from entering the country.
this should hopefully appease liberals and conservatives
