The war on drugs has failed yet hundreds of thousands of citizens of America are continuously being prosecuted for marijuana possession. These people are hard working individuals who have or are working on developing a career. However, because some had tried marijuana and got caught are paying for that mistake for the rest of their lives. We can all agree that it is a harmless substance. The fact of the matter is studies show that there is little evidence that decriminalization of marijuana will lead to an increase in usage.
Mr. President Obama, ask yourself, had you been caught when you tried it as a youth, would you still be president today?
