Decriminalize marijuana on the national level so that a country -wide medical marijuana industry can be created.

I'm urging the president to decriminalize marijuana, and marijuana products, on the national level so that a regulated medical marijuana industry can be created, allowing doctors to prescribe this medicine to their patients who can actually benefit from it. Numerous recent studies have proven the beneficial effects of THC and CBDs found in marijuana, including slowing the growth of cancerous tumors, stimulating growth of new brain cells, and effectively treating Alzheimer's disease, among others. This will also generate revenue for the federal government through taxation, which can in turn be used to improve the country as a whole.
