Decriminalize plants and fungi used for thousands of years in religious ceremonies

Created by E.S. on November 14, 2013

If I am not free to participative in religious ceremonies that are many time older then the very government that deems them illegal then I certainly do not have religious freedom.

Many plants have wealthy history behind them including but not limited to ibogaine, San Pedro, peyote, psilocybin mushrooms, salvia divinorum, and cannabis.

Countless studies that are open for peer review have been done on many of these plants and fungi.

Specificly with cannabis and pscilocybin mushrooms, it is clear that these are not illegal due to health effects. Even if I were to grant you that there was an effect of some sort, is it not we the free human beings choice to partake in such a ceremony?

We are calling for an immediate decriminalization and mass education of historical use of such PLANTS.
