We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Decriminalize possession of marijuana

Created by J.W. on July 13, 2016

This war marijuana is costing the tax payers millions, if not billions a year at the federal level and state level. Prisons are full and our judicial system is clogged with petty marijuana possession offenses. Marijuana is no more dangerous than alcohol or cigarettes, or fast food every day.

This war on marijuana also allows police to continually violate our rights and makes a simple traffic stop much more than it should be. Many people have died because of a simple plant. It's time to end this prohibition!
