Decriminalizing prostitution will not fix all of the problems in the sex industry but it is a step toward a brighter future. By making prostitution legal we enable the protection of sex workers if they are raped, sexually assaulted or whatever crime is committed against them. Due to the fact that if a crime were to be committed against a sex worker they would most likely not report it because of the fact that sex work is currently illegal which could contentiously explain why sex work is so dangerous, it makes prostitutes an easy target for criminals. We believe prostitution should be decriminalized and laws should be placed around the sex industry to ensure the safety of it's sex workers.
