On the 28th of May, 2016, 17 year old gorilla Harambe was fatally shot in his enclosure at the Cincinnati zoo, after a toddler fell into his enclosure, and Harambe grabbed the toddler. Tranquilizer should have been on-hand at the zoo to deal with incidents like these. Therefore, in remembrance of this tragedy, we the people ask that the 28th of May be dedicated Harambe Remembrance Day.
