Wireless technology and devices are everywhere in American life. Their boost to our nation's economy, and our personal sense of productivity, enjoyment, and connection from their use have easily allowed for unregulated and largely unquestioned growth and expansion. As this form of technology gets increasingly adopted by and integrated into our government, education, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and retail systems, there is a real need to fund research to deeply explore any potential long-term health effects that greater and greater exposures to radiofrequency energy may cause. Of particular concern, are the effects, both physical and mental, on children and the elderly. All Americans deserve ongoing and up to date research in this area to ensure public health and safety.
