deescalate tensions with russia and china to prevent ww3

i honestly think we should at least deescalate as much as possible in europe. according to a recent poll a majority of european citizens don't think they should defend the Baltics even if russia does something and i believe this should be taken into account. in my opinion we should not provoke a russia who is starting to look like it will use a few small nukes in case of war or a china that for the moment seems to be following some laws. i dont think Obama want world war 3 but i am not so sure russia and a couple members of congress who want to arm Ukraine no matter what may want it a little ukraine is not part of nato and in my opinion it shouldn't be. i guess i am a guy who goes for appeasement but i do this so the world does not go boom
