Vice Adm. William F. Moran stated that the fighting men in the armed forces are ready to take a cut in pay. This should not be a consideration. The statement made it sound as if they did not take a cut in pay then the equipment that keeps them safe and alive would suffer in quality. This is not acceptable. Our troops deserve the best without penalty of lower pay. As it is the equipment is made by the lowest bidder. Let the pay cuts of the senior staff be the support from the top and find a replacement for Vice Adm. William F. Moron. If he cannot support his men then he is in the wrong business.
