We The People... believe that defederalizing Marijuana is a responsible policy change and it allows for The People to choose what is best for their communities in a more localized manner producing responsible state policies that reflect the opinion of the people in that area.
Giving the states the opportunity to create laws they deem appropriate would not only allow the local communities a choice, it would also open up an industry that could create jobs, take money from the underground and put it into the economy, and to give the opportunity for more research conducted by more scientists and researchers that are not funded by the government/corporations producing "results" that reflect the interests of the policymakers and not sound scientific fact.
