The NYS S.A.F.E Act needs to be nullified. The draconian law is an infringement on the Peoples 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms, and is also a direct hit to the sovereignty of the People of New York State. There are already enough laws on the books that infringe on our 2nd Amendment freedom in New York State. This is also a petition to stop the categorizing and declassification of semi-automatic firearms as "assault firearms", they are not. We the People of New York State ask that the NYS S.A.F.E. Act to be nullified or at the very least repealed. If the people of NYC want a utopia that makes them a little more comfortable then they should separate from the rest of NYS and the "majority" will enjoy their God given and unalienable right to keep and bear arms in America.
