The United States has historically stood behind Israel. Regardless of religious beliefs, Israel has a right to exist as a nation. Obama stood in front of the American people and the world in the final presidential debate and declared “I will stand with Israel if they are attacked. And this is the reason why, working with Israel, we have created the strongest military and intelligence cooperation between our two countries in history"
A failure to do so makes this country appear weak and unwilling to stand behind it's claims. The president is the voice of this great nation and if his promises are hollow what more can be said of the promises of our country.
