Despite the need to protect Innovation it is a slippery Road to the ownership of one life by another. The ownership of a self replicating organism must be outlawed to preserve all life from Slavery.
The Truth is all life is the Same life at superposition so it ill behooves us to think that one life may be owned by another. No one can be trusted to make this decision for other life - particularly a life who is incapable of objecting.
