Deficit Reduction

We all know that the government is trying to find ways to cut spending to help reduce the deficit. I would like for our government to start with itself. Stop trying to cut the welfare and social security that so many people rely on and start with cutting the pay, pensions and bonuses that the people in the government receive. Most of the people that work for the government make more a year than most do in 5 years and yet you want to cut back on the care programs that poorer people rely on for help with medical expenses or groceries. What needs to be done is the wealthy needs to pay their share of taxes. Either close all the loopholes and tax shelters they use and raise the amount they are taxed. Us poor people pay more in taxes than the rich. We are the ones who are struggling to get by.
