The overall condition of our Country's infrastructure is so deteriorated that it represents the single most clear and present danger to our Nation and our People.
Over the next 20 years, these dangers are much more likely to provoke significant casualties as well as social and economic crises than an attack by a foreign nation.
The danger is so significant that the 1/4 of our total Defense Budget should be dedicated to the modernization of our infrastructure. This effort should be directed by the Army Corps of Engineers under the direction of the Homeland Security. Programs such as the WPA. NRA, and CCC should be created to provide the necessary number of professionals a craftspeople to carry out the work.
