The stalemate in the House and Senate has prevented our country from rebuilding the economy and moving forward. The Senate and the House are full of permanent politicians who earn their living from lobbyists and special interest groups.
We need free thinkers in Congress who will truly represent the people's needs. We do not need to be represented by people who have nothing but re-election on their agenda.
There are currently 21 senators and 61 representatives who have been in office for over 20 years. We need to thank them for their service and allow them to gracefully retire.
