Military style assault weapons and armor-piercing ammunition, high capacity magazines, and similar accessories are inappropriate for use by citizens in self defense and hunting.
What level of lethality of firearms do Americans deem appropriate in legitimate self defense and hunting applications?
We understand Congress - at the behest of the NRA - has effectively blocked the use of taxpayer funds for studies of this kind.
Let's petition Congress to remove those blocks. If Congress refuses we can ask Bill and Melinda Gates to fund the lethality study.
