We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Define what "Locally Grown" means.

Created by A.V. on July 06, 2016

The United States Department of Agriculture should define specific criteria and qualifications for a food product to be marketed as "locally grown". By officializing this term across the board, we can empower consumers to be informed about where their food is coming from. We should define "locally grown" as being grown within 50 miles of point-of-sale and "regionally grown" as being grown within 100 miles of point-of-sale.
