This petition is simply to make the government run more efficiently by only paying for underage circumcisions that are deemed medically necessary within all government sponsored medical programs in The United States of America.
18 States have already defunded all government sponsored routine underage circumcisions to all persons in their state. Expanding this to cover all States would save several million dollars on the procedures themselves, and would reduce the cost and number of subsequent followup procedures to correct botched circumcisions.
Religious and personal reasons for underage circumcision would still be fully permissible, but at the expense of the parents, or gardens.
