The DEA has spent an inordinate amount of time, & taxpayer's money mostly on fighting the use of marijuana, & other non/less-harmful substances. In its time it has wasted over $1 trillion on its pursuit of its "war on drugs", & has no plans to alter its tactics. 'Agents' are paid 6-figure salaries, & have used tax and drug cartel money to pay for sex parties; at the same time the US is working for decriminalization & legalization. A very successful White House petition called on the DEA to change it's position on Marijuana (changing it from being listed as a schedule 1 – the most dangerous types of drugs – substance) was met with complete refusal by the DEA. The DEA is an anachronism. Please cancel its funding, & push for the dismantling of this wasteful, unethical and unAmerican agency.
