Defund NASA and privatize all space exploration in the United States.

NASA is a massive issue when government spending is examined. It receives millions of dollars in funding each year, and has no real revenue. Even more frustrating, a significant portion of this money is put towards the maintenance of defunct, outdated, or otherwise redundant equipment. The only real revenue comes from the renting of NASA facilities to private companies, such as Virgin and SpaceX. As these businesses in the private sector endeavor further and further into the realm of space travel, it is the logical move to dissolve NASA. By privatizing American space exploration, we could preserve the spirit and tradition of exploration, while freeing a large amount of funding to be used in more pressing issues affecting the United States of America.
