Colin Kaepernick has made a bold statement loud and clear. He's decided to not show pride towards the flag of a country that allows police brutality to go largely unchecked while repeat offender LEOs are given "paid leave".
Why sign this petition?
- POA's President Martin Halloran has called Kapernick's accusations, based on nationwide factual statistics, both "embarrassing to himself" and a "false narrative".
- Santa Clara Police Department has threatened public safety when they threatened to "boycott" their duties to tax paying citizens by attempting to politicize, intimidate, and limit Kaepernick's free speech which was void of inciting any violence against any LEOs.
While denial is not the pathway to resolution, action is. I am a 9/11 era veteran who agrees with Kaepernick 100%.
