This petition is to defund the department of the Veterans Administration that administers veteran’s disability claims and the other departmental surrogates that are part of this process, terminate all personnel in those areas, create a new claims department staffed solely with veterans and reengineer the VA claims process.
The claims process in the VA is horribly broken. The process needs to be reengineered and the people who staff those areas now, who are government bureaucrats just feeding the process and waiting on retirement, need to be released and staffed with veterans that truly understand the veterans they serve.
