President Obama has been voted into office by the vast majority of persons who are now being threatened by North Korean nuclear missiles. These voters and the President have been against all forms of missile defense since President Regan (as they claim missile defense is a threat to other countries, somehow).
The White House's reversal on this topic and trying to *now* protect their key fundraisers in Hollywood and San Francisco (such as Barbara Streisand and Diane Feinstein's husband) from North Korean aggression is hypocritical and self serving.
Funding that would go to missile defense of West Coast cities should be returned to funding nationwide defense. Please note that this petition ends, fittingly, on tax day.
