Delay any executive action on immigration to allow the newly elected congress of the people to act on this issue.

Created by D.F. on November 14, 2014

Whereas:
• President Obama has expressed his intention to address the immigration issue again by Executive Order in the coming days or weeks, and delayed this action until after the election. Therefore we are using use this petition to vote on this issue, and;
• Any such Executive Action would be divisive for the country, and;
• Although the current Congress could NOT agree on such legislation, recent election results have made significant changes in the People’s New Congress.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, respectfully advise President Obama to REFRAIN from taking any Executive Action on Immigration. By refraining from such action he will help restore faith in our system of government and show leadership to promote a bi-partisan endeavor on one of the country’s most difficult issues.
