Restaurants may be hiring more workers, but it's because they are cutting the hours of present and future workers down to less than 30, to keep from having to buy health insurance for them.
It used to be that a good worker in a restaurant was rewarded with more hours. That is no longer so. One cannot get full time any more if one is not management.
Obamacare has made it so one cannot work hourly full time or overtime in fast food anymore, only part time or salaried overwork.
Our family, with 4 out of 5 people working in fast food by the hour, is hurting because of Obamacare. It is making life harder, not better, for the working poor.
