Looking through the various petitions, it is clear that someone or multiple someones have simply copied and pasted the same sentence and applied it to different states.
Furthermore, this copying and pasting quotes only part of the Declaration of Independence, a document that clearly states a number of reasons (and even leaves some out) for the colonies secession. Not only are any of those sentiments echoed, but no reason is given for the desire to secede from the union.
The desire to leave this country and create another should be taken more seriously, and not simply on an internet message board, even if that message board is on the White House website.
