Deliver the State of Union address from Mandel Hall at the 66th Annual Latke-Hamantash Debate.

Created by J.R. on February 09, 2013

The Latke-Hamantash Debate has been a University of Chicago tradition since 1946. UChicago faculty members apply the knowledge and tools of their disciplines to resolve the age-old question of which Jewish food is superior: The Latke or the Hamantash?

This year the famous debate falls on February 12th, the same evening as the State of the Union. We petition the president to deliver his important address from the stage of an equally important event, the Latke-Hamantash Debate.

Seeing as many of his friends and former colleagues will be in attendance, we feel that his presence at the debate will be less of an imposition than a welcomed addition.

If you think the president should attend the debate and deliver the State of the Union from Mandel Hall, please sign this petition!
