Demand All Immigrants and Refugees Pass a Mental Health Check for Severe Mental Illness Before Entering the Country

In 2009 a Chinese immigrant in Canada beheaded and ate a young ban on a bus. He was later found to have paranoid schizophrenia. Today, that man is medicated and doing well and has extreme guilt for what he did but has no recollection of doing it.
Immigrants and refugees are coming into North America without mental health checks. Depression, PTSD, OCD, bipolar etc is not a risk to citizens. However, severe mental illnesses such as paranoid schizophrenia is a clear and present danger to others. We ask that all entering the US must be examined, those with severe mental illness must then see a psychiatrist.
