Demand all petitions for secession be restarted with the condition that only persons living in the state may sign.

I signed a petition for my states secession under the impression that there was a significant group within my state sharing my frustration and distrust with the newly elected presidency. Upon looking at names already on my petition, after I had signed, I found that the vast majority of people petitioning for my states secession were not residents of my state.
We who sign this petition take this as a disrespect and a violation of those states sovereignty. We call that all previous petitions be restarted with access restricted to residents of the state in question.
We search for awareness to be made of the farce that a select group has created to be made known by the American people.
