Preventing veterans from becoming homeless is important because they have served for this country and are the best of us. Veterans have trouble integrating back into civilian society due to being away and any stress buildup (PTSD). The government needs to provide more adequate housing, healthcare and other basic necessities. We and the government need to help them become stable when they come back to America after a long tour of duty. They have seen things most people can't even imagine, and that has scarred them. They have shown us honor, now it's our turn.
