Demand an Apology from the President of Afghanistan

Created by J.B. on November 19, 2013

Recent news indicates our negotiations with the Afghan government hinge on the willingness of the President to produce a written apology for American errors during our campaign in Afghanistan. This is a praiseworthy step to take, provided that the President of Afghanistan likewise apologize for his failures. Chief among these are:
1) 2153 Americans killed by the very people we are trying to protect;
2) The abject failure of the Afghan government to fight corruption;
3) Systematically exploiting anti-American sentiment to gain power;
4) Absolute failure to control the drug trade that fuels the Taliban;
5) Continued and unabated violence against and marginalization of women and young girls;
6) Massive and systemic human rights violations of Afghan civilians and prisoners;
