The FDA has approved the sale and distribution of "powdered alcohol". The price of this approval comes at a risk to our children and the safety of the public. Easily concealable and accessible by children it poses a risk for abuse. As it is, the consumption and abuse of alcohol poses multiple threats to public safety, making it easily available to children by selling it in powdered form invites tragedy on a large scale. If alcohol were presented as a new product today it would be labeled a poison and never approved by the FDA. Big money has once again tainted the approval of a substance that would otherwise be considered dangerous. Do you really want people to be able to drink in public by concealing a packet in their pockets?
