Today on Mar 1, 2013, President Obama broke the hearts of STAR WARS fans everywhere by making an offensive error. During a press conference about sequester, he used the following shameful & disturbing phrase: "Jedi Mindmeld."
Any even slightly geeky STAR WARS fan is aware that a Jedi's power of persuasion through use of The Force is referred to as a "Jedi mind trick" by Luke Skywalker in Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. While this term may not be an official technical term in the realm of Star Wars jargon, this has become the universal vernacular among Star Wars fans. The most famous example of a Jedi mind trick is Obi-Wan's "these aren't the droids you're looking for." We DEMAND that the president apologize to us for this horrific insult.
