Demand China Frees Tibet

The Chinese are trying to destroy the Tibetan culture. They have killed over a million Tibetans since they invaded Tibet over 60 years ago. This is a genocide of a beautiful and peaceful culture. The Chinese have burned down monasteries and have not allowed Tibetans to openly practice Buddhism or even display a Tibetan flag. Students in Tibet are taught in Chinese and many Tibetan regions now have more Chinese than Tibetans as the Chinese have been encouraged to settle in communities and villages The Chinese are introducing gambling and brothels into the Tibetan culture in an attempt to destroy it. The recent self-immolations by monks is indicative of the desperate situation facing those in Tibet. The Chinese must be held accountable and Tibetans must be granted autonomy.
