Too many people in the US are suffering from lack of income. Congress must:
1. Control CEO salaries limiting their pay to 100 times the average salary in the company, regardless how they are paid.
2. Tax 100 percent of the CEO pay regardless if paid in stock options or other methods, thereby eliminating the loophole of not being taxed on stock options.
3. Tax everyone earning above $1 million dollars per year at the same rate 40% regardless of the source of income. This raises capital gains tax so that the super rich pay more taxes than a middle class person.
4. Limit Lobbyist influence by limiting money donated to politicians to 100 times the average donation the politician normally receives.
5. Increase investment in higher education to 100 times present level.
