Whereas the United States Constitution, Amendment XIV, Section 4, clearly states "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law... shall not be questioned," and whereas Congress, in its official capacity, has authorized certain expenditures, we call on the President of the United States to demand that Congress fulfill its constitutional obligation to pay the debts that they, themselves, have incurred on behalf of the citizens of this great nation.
Failure to honor these debts, which have been "authorized by law," is a clear violation of the constitution and should be grounds for the immediate removal and imprisonment of any member of the House or Senate who votes to allow this nation to default on its debts.
