We, the people, are tired of having the politicians we elect to represent our interests continue this partisan bickering. If Congress cannot work in a bipartisan manner to uphold the principles and the wishes of the electorate, then members should step down and let someone else do the job.
We have sent a message to the politicians that we are tired of having our interests set aside to serve some political agenda of a corporation or a large lobby group. When the legislative branch of government is so far removed from the interests of its people, then it is time to make changes. This starts with demanding more of our politicians. Right now, we need to show the world, which includes many investors in our country, that we are serious about keeping our promised debts.
